The Unicorn — emblem of GnozAstro

GnozAstro

Charts, cycles and an astrologer-grade AI — one single practice.

The app of La Méthode de la Licorne (The Unicorn's Method), built for the practising astrologer: the full wheel, every tool, every point — and readings almost no tool in the world can produce. Its doctrine opens to beginners too, through a guided vestibule that says it in plain words.

The argument

Four skies, one reading

Every study — yearly, monthly, natal — and every conversation crosses your birth chart, the moving sky, your secondary progressions and the current solar return, woven into a single dated story.

  • The natal chart — who you are: every placement, every aspect, the three Black Moons.
  • The transits — what strikes your chart, and when, within ±18 months.
  • The progressions — your inner seasons, at the rate of one day per year.
  • The solar return — the chart of your year, calculated where you live.

Very few tools in the world can cross all four. GnozAstro does it in every reading.

Two registers

The vestibule and the wheel

GnozAstro is a practitioner's instrument. The guided register is not a lighter version: it is the same doctrine, the same calculations, said in plain words — and the full wheel stays one tap away. On first launch, you choose your register.

Time

Transits and the time machine

The time machine

Play time over your chart: transits, progressions, tri-wheel, solar and lunar returns. The player runs forward, back, faster — 30 day / s — and returns to now with one gesture.

Graphic ephemeris, aspect finder, progressed lunation, rectification: a consulting room's instruments, in your pocket.

What no one else shows

The mirror wheel

The antiscia — the contacts hidden by the solstitial and equinoctial mirrors — drawn on the wheel: amber chords for the secret conjunctions and oppositions, and the whole chart reflected as a ring, where every alignment reads at a glance.

The mirror wheel of the antiscia

The conversation

A chat answer on the three Black Moons: Mars retrograde opposing the Alicorn, and Saturn transiting the natal Alicorn, exact conjunction on 18 March 2027.

An AI that holds your whole sky

The conversation carries all four layers — and answers at any scale, in real time: a pattern of a whole life, this year, this week. It speaks the language of your question, whatever that may be.

From the vestibule, an aspect card opens the chat with the question already written — all that is left is to send it.

The studies

Readings scaled to the case

Natal

The full portrait — every placement, patterns, Black Moons, Sabian degrees — anchored in your present.

Relationship

Six storeys: two full charts, the crossed synastry, and the two charts of the bond — the why and the when.

Yearly

Twelve months as a dated calendar, the four skies crossed — what is coming, and when.

Monthly

The same weave over thirty days, starting on the date you choose.

Three faces of one axis

The three Black Moons

Three figures beneath the orbit of Earth and Moon: above, the horn alone on the brow; below, helmeted Athena and the Unicorn.
The three faces of a single axis — illustration from LA LUNE NOIRE — Les trois visages de l'Appel (The Black Moon — The Three Faces of the Call).

The lunar apogee is not calculated in only one way. Three determinations of a single axis, which the doctrine names — and the app carries all three: on the wheel, in every study, in the conversation.

  1. The Alicorn

Mean Black Moon — mean apogee

The horn alone, separated from the animal: it gives the direction of the essence, the thread that links the successive forms of a being. It points the course; it does not walk.

  2. Athena

True Black Moon — osculating apogee

The call of the living. It moves forward, slows, sometimes retraces its steps, and reveals the form that no longer suffices: instincts, desires, memories. It shows what asks to be born.

  3. The Unicorn

Corrected Black Moon — interpolated apogee

The mediation: a direction firm enough not to be lost, carried by a body alive enough not to stiffen. The tuning fork of the soul.

“The Mean Black Moon holds the course. The True Black Moon tests the moment. The Corrected Black Moon seeks the accord.”

The doctrine

La Méthode de la Licorne

GnozAstro does not aggregate horoscopes: the app embodies an original corpus — the three Black Moons and their cross, the Ladder of Hercules, La Méthode de la Licorne — rooted in the legacy of humanistic astrology: the images of Elsie Wheeler, the eight-phase cycle theorised by Dane Rudhyar, the cyclic approach of Alexander Ruperti. The doctrine is read inside the app, at your fingertips, at every point of the wheel.
